The UNITED GRINDING Group is pleased to invite guests for this fourth edition of an international expert summit in the fields of hard-fine machining, to be held for three days in a picturesque Swiss alpine setting.

Networked production, machine learning in the production process, intelligent workpieces: What exactly do all the current buzzwords mean? And above all, how suitable are they for everyday application and what combines these topics to precision engineering and grinding technique? These and similar exciting questions will be discussed at the Grinding Symposium, to be held on May 8–10, 2019 in Thun, Switzerland.

Over the course of 16 lectures. internationally renowned experts will explain current and future trends from the grinding machine sector and the manufacturing industry. 13 presentations of real-life applications by MÄGERLE, BLOHM, JUNG, STUDER, SCHAUDT, MIKROSA, WALTER and EWAG will present the companies’ latest hardware and software solutions, including three product premieres. And in the new FutureLAB we will present innovative technologies of tomorrow.

"We are pleased to offer our guests a forum for international technical exchanges at the highest level with the Grinding Symposium," says Stephan Nell, CEO of UNITED GRINDING Group.
